Melanie Carrion, LMFT

Melanie Carrion is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with the state of California. She has a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from National University, a Bachelor of Art in Psychology from California State University, Fresno. Melanie has worked with families for over twenty years and has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, correctional facilities, group homes, school, and in the home. Melanie has a great deal of experience working with struggling adolescents and families, working to build support systems, and working on family dynamics.  As a licensed clinician at Grow Through Life Counseling she supports clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, anger, self-esteem issues, gender identity, substance abuse and trauma. 


Hayley Sherer, ASW

Hayley graduated from the University of Arizona where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and then continued her education at University of Southern California where she received a Master’s of Social Work. Hayley is currently pursuing her Doctor of Psychology degree from California Southern University. To begin her clinical experience, Hayley worked in a school setting with children who suffer from a multitude of issues including Autism, ADD, Anxiety and Depression. As she continued developing her skill set, Hayley spent the past year working with adults who suffer from substance use and dual diagnosis mental health in Los Angeles. Hayley prides herself on her ability to build relationships and connect with client’s in order to ensure each client is reaching their full potential. Hayley is a down-to-earth and empathetic therapist who is passionate about supporting her clients. She truly believes that creating and growing a mind, body and spirit connection is essential in living a fulfilling life. In order to better understand and provide a physical and spiritual wellness aspect to her therapeutic practice, Hayley received her personal training certificate in 2018. Hayley takes a person-centered and strengths-based approach to meet the client where they are at. She strongly believes in using therapeutic modalities that best fit the client’s needs and personalities to help them gain a better understanding of themselves and recognize their own ability to create meaningful change in their lives and accomplish their personal and therapeutic goals.

Greta Meyerhof, LMFT

Licensed Marriage Family Therapist

Greta Meyerhof has over 25 years of experience as a marriage and family therapist in many different treatment settings including working therapeutically with incarcerated youth, working with families housed in domestic violence shelters, providing therapy for young adults and family members in a residential treatment program for substance use disorder and working in a medical clinic. Greta also created and implemented a Parent Education Program that is probation approved. She has considerable experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting concerns and uses evidenced based tools in her practice such as CBT and mindful based stress reduction. She is confident she can assist families and young ones with life’s challenges whether it is managing stress, resolving conflicts or developing self-empowerment.

Andrea Zon Frilli, LMFT, LAADC

Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor

Andrea is licensed in California as a Marriage and Family Therapist, and has over a decade of work in behavioral health.  In addition to her role as a therapist, she is certified through CCAPP as a LAADC, specializing in Substance Abuse Treatment.  Her approach to both mental health and/or addiction is solution focused, and she will work together with you to help discover the ways which best to support your vision of your best life. Her experience spans working with adolescents, adults, couples and families.  She can help with those who are adjusting to life’s transitions and need support, to those who deal with ongoing psychiatric needs.  She also has experience working to support feelings of grief and loss in all facets of life.  Andrea has been comfortable providing services in a variety of settings; including middle and high schools, homes and offices.  Andrea has a personable approach to therapy.  Her real hope is to help you grow, support empowerment, and develop new patterns to better suit the life you desire to lead.  You deserve to learn to embrace positive change and enjoy the results!

Paul Wilcox, AMFT, APCC

Associate Marriage Family Therapist, Associate Professional Clinical Counselor

Paul Wilcox AMFT, APCC got his Master's degree in Counseling Psychology in 2016 with specializations in both Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and an Associate Professional Counselor, Paul has worked with children, teens, adults and families in a variety of settings. Paul primarily uses a client-centered therapy approach, but also incorporates other techniques into treatment, including CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, Gestalt and strength-based therapy. Paul has helped clients with depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, low self-esteem, at-risk behaviors, substance abuse, and overcoming scars left by past traumas. He is passionate about helping others live healthy, positive, balanced lives with a focus on the mind-body connection, self improvement, personal growth and self actualization. Paul has also worked as an Educator with Special Needs students with mental disorders for 18 years and as a Certified Personal Trainer and Musician.

Alejandra Carbajal, LMFT

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Alejandra has served in the mental health field since 2013. Since then, she has become passionate about her work in the field as she strives to help others reach happiness and fulfillment. Through her compassionate nature and person centered approach, she is able to encourage and motivate change in the therapeutic process. Her experience ranges from working with children/teens and their families, to providing extensive services to individuals with psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.  Alejandra specializes in treating adolescents suffering from adjustment issues, emotion regulation, cutting behaviors, anxiety and depression disorders. Her goal is to strengthen social and coping skills, as well as interpersonal relationships with loved ones. Alejandra has been an LGBTQ ally since 2012 and is here to provide a safe space for those in need. She is bilingual, offering services in both English and Spanish.

Russell Sprague, LMFT

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Russell Sprague has over 30 years experience providing supportive, collaborative and empowering client-centered  treatment for children, teens, families and adults in a wide variety of settings. He has worked in group homes and residential treatment centers, in after school programs and elementary, middle and high schools, in in-patient hospitals and neuro-imaging research labs, VA Medical Centers, in juvenile halls and in outpatient County Mental Health and non-profit clinics. His positions and responsibilities have ranged from being a volunteer, line staff, live-in counselor, licensed therapist, mental health consultant,  trainer and as a supervisor for Children and Adult Clinics as well as for a Juvenile Hall in Riverside County. Clients benefit from improvements in communication, decision making, problem solving, parenting, strengthened relationships in couples and families, and self confidence,  by gaining the skills and understanding to better manage their lives.

Katherine "Kasey" Hartdegen, LMFT

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Kasey is a San Diego naïve who has been working with children and families in non-profits and school based settings for the last 5 years. She has a Master’s degree in clinical psychology from Azusa Pacific University and is a licensed marriage and family therapist. Kasey has experience working with children ages 2-18 and their families who struggle with anxiety, depression and difficulty adjusting to new situations including divorce, Child Welfare involvement and trauma. Kasey has specialized training in play therapy and trauma focused CBT. Kasey utilizes a person-centered approach and believes parent’s are the expert on their children and views therapy as a space for children and families to explore their values and grow. She assists children and teens with creating more harmonious adjustments to life stressors including: blending families, grief and loss, family moves and transitions. She enjoys supporting communication in the parent-child and parent-teen relationships via family therapy. Kasey is passionate about helping youth have a happier, better emotional quality of life.
