Isabelle Mirasol, AMFT
Isabelle is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who has been working with youth and
families for over ten years with 2.5 of those years in the mental health field. Isabelle has experience working with youth in school, home, inpatient, and outpatient settings as well as with adults with co-occurring conditions (substance use and mental health) in an outpatient program. She has worked with individuals with a broad range of mental health concerns, such as depression, anxiety, life stressors, low self-esteem,grief, trauma, and so forth. Isabelle believes in creating a safe space to develop an authentic and strong therapeutic relationship. Isabelle provides a non-judgmental, strengths-based, client-centered approach to empower her clients to grow and develop new skills while improving their overall wellbeing. She utilizes evidence-based practices, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and keeps a trauma-informed and cultural lens in working with each unique individual client. Isabelle received
her Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Child Development at San Diego State University and her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology San Diego campus. She joined Grow Through Life Counseling in 2022 to support the south San Diego and Chula Vista communities.
