Adele (she/they) is honored to work with individuals of all ages, bringing warmth and collaboration to the therapy space. They are passionate about supporting people throughout their parenting journeys, as well as working with young people and trans, queer, and gender-expansive communities. Adele’s approach is primarily grounded in Narrative Therapy, recognizing clients as experts in their own experiences with the skills and knowledge to navigate mental health and relational challenges. They are also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), which they implement with cultural humility to help clients process trauma. Prior to joining Grow Through Life Counseling, Adele provided individual therapy in a private practice setting focused on supporting trans and 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals. During their graduate training, they worked in an educational setting providing group and individual counseling to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, parent-child relationship difficulties, and suicidality. They also co-facilitated parenting groups and healthy boundaries groups for elementary school-aged youth. Before entering the mental health field, Adele worked for over a decade supporting families through creative and play-based programming, elements they continue to bring into the therapy space.Adele holds a Bachelor of Arts in Gender Studies from Indiana University and a Master of Arts in Counseling, with a focus on Clinical Mental Health Counseling, from the University of San Diego.
Adele is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor #16175, supervised by Glen Hilton, LMFT, and employed by Grow Through Life Counseling.
