Welcome Angela Carlton, APCC

This week we welcome Angela to our Murrieta team! Angela is extremely passionate about the field of counseling & mental health. She has always had a desire to see people thrive and ensure that her clients feel seen, safe and supported. Angela recognizes that change can often feel overwhelming and sometimes even hopeless; however, she believes in the transformative power of a collaborative therapeutic relationship and hopes that her clients can experience what the facilitation of engaging in their wellness can bring to their lives.

She desires for her clients to feel hopeful, competent, and empowered in achieving their goals through the increased mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing that is gained through the counseling relationship. Ultimately, she desires to stand by the side of her clients and support their whole being, while championing them along their journey to healing and autonomy. Angela utilizes various therapeutic modalities to support those who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, academic and learning challenges, stress management, adjustment issues, and new mom related issues.

Angela graduated with her Master of Arts degree in Educational and Clinical Counseling from Azusa Pacific University. Angela is currently registered as an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) and is also a credentialed School Counselor (PPS). Her prior experiences working in the fields of social services, higher education, and junior & senior high school settings have afforded her the opportunity to support a diverse range of individuals with varying needs, and in different life stages.
