Welcome Elana McCormick, AMFT

Elana is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who received her Masters in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, East Bay. Elana has years of clinical experience in high school and inpatient settings, working closely with adolescents with various diagnoses including depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use. She works from a collaborative, person-centered, and strength-based approach while supporting clients to be in charge of their own lives. Her empathy, warmth, and patience help create a safe, non-judgmental space for all ages, where clients can process and heal. Elana works closely with her clients to tailor therapy to their needs and what works best for them. Elana is accepting new patients in our Sorrento Valley location and via Telehealth in CA.
