Welcome Erin Bower, APCC
Erin embodies a person-responsive approach, using validation and understanding that each person is the expert of their own experience. She knows how much courage and strength is required to reach out for professional mental health services and uses authenticity and respect to collaboratively form treatment goals. As a former middle school teacher, she has years of experience working with young people (and their families) to help them reach their full potential.

Erin has provided therapy to youth in schools and most recently worked as a therapist in a residential facility supporting adults diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness. She focuses on trauma-informed care and is familiar with several different therapy approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy and Expressive Art. Erin has been a musician for over 20 years and understands the unique sensitivities and mental health challenges that creative people can face. She also has experience working with people in substance use recovery and is familiar with the 12-step support group, Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families. Erin is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from National University.
