Jennifer has started in our Del Mar and Scripps Ranch locations accepting new clients. Jennifer is skilled at working parents on challenging behaviors in their children and teens. J

ennifer is an associate marriage and family therapist registered in the state of California with over 10 years of experience working in the mental health field. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego State University. She has worked with adults, children, adolescents, couples and families. Jennifer has gained extensive experience working with children, teens, transitional aged youth and families in a variety of locations including, in-home, residential and school based settings. Jennifer utilizes a wide variety of evidence based practices including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems and Psychodynamic modalities. She understands that each person is unique and provides individualized treatment in order to best suit her client’s needs and unique experiences. Jennifer is nurturing, empathetic and trauma informed. She provides a nonjudgmental safe space to explore thoughts and feelings and is passionate about helping her clients recognize their own individual strengths and feel confident in themselves and their ability to overcome challenges.
