Audrey Anderson-Teshima, LMFT

Audrey helps children and families set boundaries of acceptable behavior, improve communication, and re-engage with school and schoolwork. It’s difficult to be a parent, and difficult to be a child. If you are in a blended family, or if your family includes a child with special needs, the challenges are even greater. Audrey has a wealth of experience in helping families thrive, including military service members and their families who face difficulties around deployment, family reintegration, and grief and loss. Prior to becoming an LMFT, Audrey was a Special Education teacher for over 15 years. She holds an MA in Psychology with a Marriage and Family Therapy emphasis from Chapman University and an MA in Teacher Education from Azusa Pacific University.
Krissy Staley, LPCC

Krissy's professional experience counseling children and teens of began in April of 2007. Since then, she has had the opportunity to work with many children and families who are experiencing a variety of challenges. Her work includes helping children and teens who need assistance managing ADHD, the school setting, social and emotional needs, mental health needs, behavior management, and college and career planning. As a licensed clinician at Grow Through Life Counseling, she is excited to offer counseling to help with any challenges you and your children may be experiencing. She is passionate about providing effective services to help children and families live a healthy and rewarding life.
Samantha Evans, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Samantha Evans is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the state of California. She has a master’s degree in Social Work from California State University, San Marcos, a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development from San Diego State University as well as a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Social Work. Samantha has worked with the adolescent population for over seven years and has worked in a variety of settings: schools, juvenile detention facilities, home services, and in an outpatient setting. Samantha has a great deal of knowledge working with students with IEPs (individualized education plans, special education (SPED), and mental health within the school setting. Samantha enjoys working with adolescents and the family systems. With her combined background in mental health, early childhood education and child development, this has allowed her to support clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, anger, self-esteem issues, and trauma. As a licensed clinician at Grow Through Life Counseling, she is enthusiastic to offer support to families who may be experiencing challenges.
Esther De La Cruz, LMFT, RPT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Registered Play Therapist
Esther is passionate about supporting children, teens and families navigate through challenges of their social emotional development. Her integrated background in mental health, early childhood education and child development has allowed her to help children and teens who struggle with anxiety, self-regulation, anger, depression, special needs, challenging behavior, self-esteem issues, and trauma. She uses play therapy to help children express their needs and resolve their challenges when words are difficult. In addition to her degree, she holds a Child Development Program Director Credential. She also has a certificate in Play Therapy. She is a Certified Positive Discipline Parent & Classroom Educator and a Child Development instructor at an technical college. She looks forward to supporting your child, teen and family acquire new skills to help him/her succeed in the areas important to your life. Esther also enjoys supporting adults through times of transition including divorce, grief and loss and relational changes. Esther also works with couples to heal and create a more loving and supportive environment. Esther is Bilingual and offers counseling services in both English and Spanish.
Russell Sprague, LMFT

Russell Sprague has over 30 years experience providing supportive, collaborative and empowering client-centered treatment for children, teens, families and adults in a wide variety of settings. He has worked in group homes and residential treatment centers, in after school programs and elementary, middle and high schools, in in-patient hospitals and neuro-imaging research labs, VA Medical Centers, in juvenile halls and in outpatient County Mental Health and non-profit clinics. His positions and responsibilities have ranged from being a volunteer, line staff, live-in counselor, licensed therapist, mental health consultant, trainer and as a supervisor for Children and Adult Clinics as well as for a Juvenile Hall in Riverside County. Clients benefit from improvements in communication, decision making, problem solving, parenting, strengthened relationships in couples and families, and self confidence, by gaining the skills and understanding to better manage their lives.
