Francesca Jones, LCSW

Francesca who holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Loma Linda University. Francesca has over 7 years working with individuals and Families in the hospital setting. Her areas of expertise include: medical trauma, illness adjustment, depression, grief and loss, substance abuse, anxiety, and life transitions. Francesca uses a multidimensional approach to therapy, exploring each individual's biological, psychological, social, and spiritual needs. Her theoretical approach centers on various forms of therapy including cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, and solution focused. With empathetic understanding, she desires to come along side each individual to incorporate hope, healing from trauma, adaptive coping strategies, improve communication, develop resiliency, and build self worth. She joined Grow Through Life Counseling in 2021 to make a difference and provide healing for children, teens and families in Murrieta area!
Kelly Ross, LPCC
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Kelly graduated from Loma Linda University with a Masters of Science in Counseling and is a LicensedProfessional Clinical Counselor (LPCC 9953) and certified School Counselor (PPS).
Kelly has worked in a variety of settings, including; middle and high schools, partial hospitalization
programs, intensive outpatient programs, and mental health hospitals. Kelly has an extensive history of working with adolescents and various diagnoses. She has been thoroughly trained in Dialectical
Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Kelly uses her creativity and enthusiasm for the field to provide fun and informative psycho-education groups. Aside from clinical work, Kelly has an extensive history of working with the public and providing assistance with government aid. Kelly utilizes her sense of humor and strong communication skills to foster connection with clients and their family. Kelly’s background in professional communication has enabled her to effectively advocate for the needs of her clients. Kelly is very passionate towards therapy and has dedicated herself to a career designed to work with those in need.
David Hernandez, ASW
Associate Social Worker Supervised by Esther De La Cruz, LMFT, RPT
David provides help for both individuals and families. He enjoys helping teens with identity development and navigating challenges. He is bilingual (Spanish) and culturally competent in the treatment of diverse backgrounds. He has combined experiences from a variety of educational backgrounds including both medical and social work. He studied medicine for four years with a focus on psychiatry and family medicine, developing his passion for understanding and treating trauma, depression, anxiety, complex PTSD, and grief. He changed his focus to social work to further help patients understand trauma and mood disorders, to help individuals achieve balance in life. David combines experiences and passion for understanding cognitive functions to assist patients in healing. He graduated from USC with a master’s in social work and considers himself a life long learner. David has worked in both medical and psychiatric inpatient settings, as well as Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) levels of care with focuses on mood disorders and trauma through group therapy and education. David utilizes a person-centered approach, utilizing therapeutic elements from Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and is supervised by Esther De La Cruz, LMFT, RPT.
Jaylee Wachholder, ASW

Jaylee has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of capacities: inpatient programs and outpatient programs for depression, anxiety, PTSD, behavioral concerns, personality and substance use disorders. Jaylee is a firm believer in providing empathy and unconditional support to her clients throughout all of life’s challenges. She has a passion for recovering from trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She is also expertly qualified to work with families of ASD and nuerodivergent and has prior ABA training. Jaylee takes a person-centered, strengths-based approach when working with clients while incorporating aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and understanding of the body’s physical and psychological responses to trauma through the poly-vagal theory, along with other evidence-based interventions. Jaylee received her Master of Social work degree with a concentration in Children and Families from California Baptist University in 2019. She is dedicated to using modalities that best fit each client’s individual needs and personality to help them get a better understanding of themselves, identify and implement effective coping skills, and recognize their autonomy and ability to create the meaningful and lasting change that they are seeking in their lives.
Liyan Lagevardi, LMFT

Liyan is passionate about supporting children, teens and families. Growing families including couples transitioning into parenthood or who may already have young children. She understands that the hope and excitement of becoming a parent can sometimes wane under the challenges and stressors inherent in this phase of life. In addition to being a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator, Liyan also utilizes Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her work with couples and families. She understands that a secret to managing parenthood is to keep your relationship strong and utilize discipline that is respectful to both parent and child. Liyan appreciates the difference between thriving, not just surviving, as a family. Liyan also has extensive experience supporting military families who must not only navigate the usual family challenges, but also the additional stress of military life such as frequent relocation and the cycle of deployment. Liyan offers Telehealth at this time.
Esther De La Cruz, LMFT, RPT

Esther is passionate about supporting children, teens and families navigate through challenges of their social emotional development. Her integrated background in mental health, early childhood education and child development has allowed her to help children and teens who struggle with anxiety, self-regulation, anger, depression, special needs, challenging behavior, self-esteem issues, and trauma. She uses play therapy to help children express their needs and resolve their challenges when words are difficult. In addition to her degree, she holds a Child Development Program Director Credential. She also has a certificate in Play Therapy. She is a Certified Positive Discipline Parent & Classroom Educator and a Child Development instructor at a technical college. She looks forward to supporting your child, teen and family to acquire new skills to help him/her succeed in the areas important to your life. Esther also enjoys supporting adults through times of transition including divorce, grief and loss and relational changes. Esther also works with couples to heal and create a more loving and supportive environment. Esther is Bilingual and offers counseling services in both English and Spanish.
