We’re thrilled to welcome Francisca “Fran” Verduzco Moreno, APCC to our La Mesa location! Fran is a compassionate and affirming therapist who provides bilingual services in English and Spanish, supporting teens and adults on their path to healing and growth.

Fran is especially passionate about working with undocumented individuals, the LGBTQ+ community, people in the process of coming out, and those navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, PMDD, and major life transitions. Her therapeutic style is rooted in a feminist and person-centered framework that acknowledges how identity and systems of power shape mental health experiences.

She draws from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and emotion-focused therapy to tailor care to each client’s unique needs. Fran’s background includes work in community clinics and schools, where she supported at-risk youth, parents, and young adults from diverse cultural backgrounds. Her calm and caring presence creates a welcoming space for anyone seeking clarity, resilience, or meaningful change.

Fran earned her Master’s degree in Counseling with a concentration in Multicultural and Trauma-Informed Counseling from San Diego State University. She is a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (#18084), supervised by Rachel Murphy Pittsley, LMFT, and employed by Grow Through Life Counseling.

Fran is currently accepting new clients in person at our La Mesa office and via Telehealth across California. To book an appointment, please call our intake team at 619-549-0329 ext. 0.
