Welcome Kimberly Yrigoyen, AMFT!

Kimberly enjoys working with children, teens, family, and couples. She works with families experiencing anxiety, depression, divorce , grief, behavioral concerns, mood disorders. 

She works alongside children and teens by helping them adjust to changes and understand one’s emotions. Kimberly helps families and couples work together to learn to communicate and work through past and present obstacles.

She helps individuals reach their goals. As part of care, she incorporates Play Therapy, Family System Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Kimberly has worked with children transitioning in school settings, at home changes, and adoption/foster care. She has two years experience in school counseling and In-home therapy. She understands the strength it takes to seek help and provides a safe space to open up and express oneself. Kimberly graduated from California Baptist University with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and is Registered as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT143570). She is supervised by Kelly Ross, LPCC.
