Tauree has helped individuals address a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, and navigating complex family and relationship issues. She is especially passionate about working with those impacted by trauma, helping them heal and grow through personalized therapeutic approaches. Tauree is also skilled in supporting differently-abled and neurodivergent individuals and is a Certified Autism-Informed Specialist.
With a focus on active listening, Tauree strives to create a safe and trusting environment to ensure individuals feel heard and supported throughout their therapeutic journey. In her practice, she approaches therapy through the lens of attachment theory and person-centered principles, focusing on each individual's unique needs and experiences while understanding the impact of early relationships on their emotional well-being. Tauree integrates a variety of evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), and play therapy strategies to ensure a holistic and personalized approach to care.
Post graduate school, Tauree worked with individuals and families in an outpatient therapy setting, providing trauma-focused care for adults, teens, and children and counseling for parents navigating complex family dynamics. While completing her graduate studies, she gained experience in school settings counseling elementary-aged youth. She also gained experience supporting teens in a day treatment program, developing curriculum, and providing therapeutic care for those facing significant emotional and behavioral challenges.
Tauree earned her Master’s in Social Work from Louisiana State University and is a registered Associate Clinical Social Worker.
