I think we can all agree it's been long few years with lots of stress and challenges. This summer, we saw a return to family travel and vacations. A new normal was seemingly getting established. We have dealt with so much in our society, collective health and family dynamics. The existing cracks got bigger and many relationships were tested. Meltdowns happened. But also, babies were born, people got marrieds, careers were changed for the better, families spent more time together, people became grateful for their health and appreciated it a way they had never thought of before. When we go through hard times, we grow, we change, we get skills and we find the silver linings. So, although we didn't choose it, we choose to make the most of life's challenges. As we head toward the end of 2022, it's great to know this was much more normal year and 2023 is brand new, fresh start. It's a great time to reflect, make a amends, decide what's working and what's not and set some goals for the new year. As therapists, we love to see and be a part of this active, conscious work and supportive of the personal growth that comes when you take the time to do so. If you struggle to do this on your own, having your therapist support you as we near the end of this year is a great idea. If you need a therapist, give a call 619-549-0329 and we'd be happy to set you up with a great one!
