Daniel Karzi, AMFT, is passionate and dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families—ranging from adolescents to older adults—navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity. He utilizes a strengths-based, humanistic approach to therapy, creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with authenticity and trust.

Drawing from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), Daniel empowers clients to make meaningful and lasting changes. His previous experience working with the LGBTQ+ community and individuals experiencing homelessness has deepened his cultural humility and commitment to inclusive, respectful care. Daniel has also worked with clients experiencing substance use and co-occurring disorders, and believes in the healing power of strong therapeutic relationships built on trust and unconditional positive regard.

Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Graduate School of Education and Psychology at Pepperdine University.

Daniel is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #153379), supervised by Erica McDaniel, LCSW, and employed by Grow Through Life Counseling.
