Lanelle has experience with a wide range of concerns including: stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harming behaviors and other mood disorders. With a compassionate and collaborative approach, she is dedicated to empowering individuals and families as they grow in their unique healing journeys. Lanelle has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by
individuals and families dealing with mental health conditions.
She utilizes evidence-based approaches: CBT, DBT, ACT, MI and culturally relevant approaches to promote resilience and foster positive change. She delivers compassionate, holistic, and culturally responsive therapy to all ages and diverse backgrounds. She enjoys helping underserved communities. Her approach is grounded in a social justice and trauma-informed lens, strength-based, person-centered, and fosters a non-judgmental, affirming environment. She has more than 6 years of experience in community based and outpatient settings working with youth, adults and families. Lanelle welcomes individuals with intersecting identities, particularly 2SLGBTQIA+ and BIPOC folx of diaspora. She is a first-generation Chicana, fluent in both Spanish and English.
