Naz has worked with various populations and is passionate about using cognitive behavioral and solution-focused therapy to help her clients. Born and raised in Iran, she moved to the U.S. when she was 17. She understands and can relate to her clients who have migrated to the U.S. and are experiencing changes in attitudes, family values, generational status, and social affiliations. She has experience working with clients with severe and acute mental illness.
Nazanin is also passionate about Holistic therapy, where she focuses on a person's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. She might use art or music to work with people or mindfulness practices, including meditation and relaxation techniques and physical approaches such as yoga or Tai Chi.
Nazanin graduated from UCSD, majoring in Psychology, and received her master's degree in MFT and PCC from National University.
